Biography:
Stephen Brkich has been using a camera since 1979 when he received one for Christmas. It was a Canon AT-1 that was all manual. It’s first use was for a School trip to Washington DC with his sixth grade class. In Middle School he was part of the photography club where he learned to process black and white negatives and use a dark room for prints. He would later use his cousin’s dark room to process black and white prints.
In 2011 Stephen began to take interest in Wildlife and Landscape photography during a trip to Yellowstone National Park and later Katmai National Park in 2013. This started yearly trips to photograph wildlife and landscapes. Stephen was also part of Cedar Park booster club committee that would photograph the High School football games.
Stephen would later learn post processing techniques using Lightroom, Photoshop and other various plug ins. Most of this was self taught with some classes from Creative Live and Kelby One.
Stephen continues to enjoy traveling to various locations across the United States and other Countries. His travels usually include his wife Pam. Each time he travels he is learning and improving his photography skills and techniques.
Stephen is an active member of The North Austin Pfotographic Society.
