"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." - Anaïs Nin
There's something quietly powerful about putting pen to paper and in this interactive workshop, Jeanne Florini of Jeanne's Ohana Designs shows you both sides of it: the art and the science.
You'll discover how handwriting, letter writing and creative journaling can genuinely support your wellbeing, pick up journaling approaches you can carry into everyday life, practise the art of being present, and use visual prompts to spark something of your own on the page. It's hands-on, unhurried, and made to leave you with ideas you'll actually use.
Whether you've kept a journal for years or have never started one, this class meets you where you are. Budding journalers around age 10 and up are welcome too.
What's included: You'll take home a curated journaling set, each one unique, with a fountain pen–friendly notebook, decorative paper, stickers, stencils, several pens, and prompts to keep you going long after the workshop.
About Jeanne: Jeanne loves photography, art, paper and writing instruments, using them to hand-make stationery, cards and customised journals. Her inspiration comes from nature, travel, reading and culture, especially Hawai'i and Italy. She's a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and recently retired college professor.
