The Arc of Texas is coming to our chapter as part of this year’s Tour Across Texas (#TheArcTourAcrossTX)! Join us on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at The Arc of McLennan County for a free training hosted by The Arc of Texas Public Policy & Advocacy Team. You’ll get an update on their recent public policy efforts and learn how to use your voice for public policy change that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Folks involved with our chapter, including self-advocates, parents/family of a person with a disability, and members of the larger disability community are invited to join us!
