With the "How Journalism Works" panel discussions, presented by the Worcester Journalism Association, news and media professionals from all over Worcester and beyond will come together in a series of six discussions aimed at promoting media literacy, a general understanding of how news works, and how different journalists and organizations have different approaches. The first panel will be:
“Separating News From Opinion”

The panel discussions are all set for 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month between September and March, except December, in the Saxe Room of the Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem St., Worcester.
The Worcester Journalism Association is a loose association of journalism and news media professionals. The series is coordinated by Victor D. Infante (Features Editor, Telegram & Gazette).
