Faculty, you're invited to The Academy for Excellence in Education's inaugural Education Research Symposium featuring keynote speaker Dr. Mark A. McDaniel, co-author of "Make It Stick."
In partnership with the Office of Faculty Affairs' Faculty Focus, the event is open to all faculty. All faculty are invited to submit an abstract for a poster session on their educational research. Submit an Abstract using the tickets link or the link shared via umc.edu email. If you have questions about the Abstracts process, please email Dr. Judy Gordy at [email protected]. Deadline to submit an abstract is Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The symposium is on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union Conference Rooms.
