For September’s meeting, Derby Whisky Club presents The 6 Bottle Challenge — an evening exploring how just six carefully chosen whiskies can create a collection full of quality, variety, character and value.
Imagine whisky experts like Ralfy, Roy Aquavitae or Charles MacLean turning up at your house. Which six affordable bottles would you proudly pour for them? Which whiskies deserve a place in the ultimate budget-conscious collection?
During the evening we’ll taste six whiskies chosen to represent different styles, regions and flavour profiles while debating what makes a bottle truly essential. Expect lively discussion, surprising drams and plenty of whisky geekery along the way.
As always there will also be our raffle, with whisky prizes and a chance to support future Derby Whisky Club events.
Whether you are new to whisky or already deep into the hobby, this promises to be a relaxed, entertaining and highly drinkable evening.
