The Winchester Jazz Collective presents The 3-M’s: Miles, Monk & Mingus, a tribute celebrating the groundbreaking genius of three jazz icons.
From Miles Davis’ cool innovation to Charles Mingus’ bold compositions and Thelonious Monk’s singular style, this performance brings their timeless music to life with fresh energy and deep reverence.
Founded by Director of Jazz & Commercial Music Matt Niess, the Winchester Jazz Collective unites Shenandoah University jazz faculty and students to honor the jazz tradition while infusing it with fresh energy and innovation. Read more at barnsofrosehill.org/concerts/3-ms.
