It's that time of year again! The 2026 iteration of the Weston Creek Club (WCTC) Championships runs from Friday 11 September until Sunday 13 September. Entries close 1 September, so don't miss out!

And if anyone needed any extra motivation, with the Championships commencing in the late afternoon and continuing on into the evening of Friday 11 September, there will also be FREE PIZZA for players and spectators.
Interspersed between the tennis and free pizza, the club will also be presenting its inaugural club awards to:
Junior player of the year
Pennant player of the year
Team of the year
Volunteer of the year
Coach of the year
Social player of the year
So bring your family and friends to enjoy free food while watching some tennis, supporting your local club, and cheering on your hitting partners and teammates.
With multiple events for women, men, juniors (across multiple age groups), experienced and inexperienced players, and even parent/child doubles, there's something available for everyone! Even if you don't have a doubles partner, there are always others who are in the same boat, so we'll pair players up accordingly.
Full Championship details:
CLUB DAY - Friday 11 September: Championships commence in the late afternoon, with free pizza provided for both players and spectators. The 2026 WCTC awards will also be presented by the club president in between matches and pizza!
PLAYER'S DAY - Saturday 12 September: The busiest day for players with matches across all event categories. We'll definitely need all of our 14 courts to fit everyone in, including the 2 freshly resurfaced courts on 1 and 2, not to mention our 2 BRAND NEW HARDCOURTS!
SPECTATOR'S DAY - Sunday 13 September: The culmination of the WCTC Championships with the semi-finals and finals played today on the club's show-courts. Definitely a good time to be a spectator, so the club encourages everyone who participates in the Championships to come down with your friends, family and hitting partners (members or otherwise!) to get behind the finalists and celebrate 3 days of community tennis.
Food and drink (outside of the free pizza on Friday afternoon/evening) will also be available across the weekend for purchase, with a BBQ run on Saturday and Sunday. The club's famous vending machine will even be making an appearance!
