The P.T Barn is proud to host the official 2026 British OCR 400m Championships.
Building on the massive success of our 2025 event and incorporating insights from international courses like Ireland 2025, we are building our best, fastest-flowing, championship-quality course yet.
Expect high-octane, head-to-head racing on a spectacular stage.
🗓️ Date & Time:
Sunday 13th September 2026 | 09:00 – 15:00.
🏆 Location:
The P.T Barn (Between Langdon Hills + Corringham).
👥 Ages:
Open to racers aged 10 to 60+
⚡ The Race Format:
Qualifying: Every racer gets 2 timed qualifying runs of the 400m course.
The Finals: The top 8 overall racers will advance into live, head-to-head knockout rounds to crown the ultimate British Champions.
Note: Final timings are subject to slight adjustment based on total registration numbers.
💰 Prize Money & Podiums:
There is a £100 cash prize for the 1st Place Elite Male and 1st Place Elite Female!
Podiums and trophies will be awarded across a highly inclusive range of categories:
Elite & International: Overall Elite Podium | Overall International Podium.
Junior Categories: 10–11 | 12–13 | 14–17.
Adult Age Groups: 18–34 | 35–44 | 45–49 | 50–54 | 55–59 | 60+.
Para-OCR Divisions: Adaptive Upper Body | Adaptive Lower Body | Visual Impairment.
📋 Rules & Regulations:
A comprehensive, official Rule Book will be published and emailed to all participants ahead of race day.
