Join us for “That’s Not a Pet! – A Young Writers’ Workshop” with author Jill Gilson as she shares a special reading of her unpublished short story That’s Not a Pet! Kids will get an inside look at what it really takes to be a writer—from brainstorming ideas to bringing characters to life on the page.
After the reading, participants can choose between a creative coloring activity inspired by the story or a chance to write their own short tale about their pets (real or imagined!).
