Hedberg Public Library Book Fest is partnering with downtown businesses to host a variety of bookish events featuring local authors. Come to the Club and hear from Kathy Schendt, author of "Gifts Are Meant to Be Shared: The Story of Miracle, the Therapy Dog." About the Author: My book was written about our Golden Retriever. Miracle volunteered over 3000 hours and she traveled to Uvalde, Texas, and many other places, helping so many children during her lifetime. While this is a "children's book," the message of kindness, hope, patience and love will resonate with adults, too.
