Agnes is back and for Fringe 2026!
Edinburgh, 1829.
The School of Anatomical Sciences needs fresh cadavers. With high demand but low supply, a few desperate souls resort to murder, selling corpses to the school for cash.
At the ripe age of 32, Agnes Gillies might as well have one foot in the grave. With no husband and no prospects, she’s too old to be a gold digger... but the graveyard has no age limit.
While she’s snatching the dead to earn that bread, Agnes finds an unexpected confidant in the form of a gentlemanly corpse. His silent support and lack of free will make him the perfect partner for a woman society has largely ignored. But how long can love last, when death has already done its parting?
