Research Spotlight: Findings from the Australia Women's Midlife Years Study
About this Event
Professor Davis will deliver a talk on recent findings from the Australia Women's Midlife Years (AMY) Study, exploring menopausal symptoms, testosterone, and sexual function in pre-, peri-, and post-menopause.
Attendees will gain an understanding of the symptoms reliably related to perimenopause, review changes in sexual function at midlife and testosterone physiology in women, and learn about associations between testosterone and preandrogens and midlife female sexual function.

Susan R. Davis, AO, MBBS FRACP PhD FAHMS, is a Endocrinologist and clinician-researchers. She is head of the the Monash University Women's Health Research Program, and the Women's Endocrine Clinic, Alfred Hospital Melbourne. Prof. Davis has over 500 peer-reviewed publcations and has received numberous national and international awards in research and medicine, including the Medal of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She holds a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) of Australia Level 3 Investigator Grant.
