The Pitt County Historical Society is delighted to host its annual Thanksgiving Tea on November 17, 2024 at the Music House (408 W Fifth Street).The Music House is a Victorian Home—one of the oldest in Greenville—which has been meticulously preserved and decorated in period style by owner John O’Brien. As part of this year’s tea, guests will have the opportunity to visit the Higgs House, which is the companion house to the Music House, and learn more about the history of the two homes and the families who lived in them.
A tour of the Higgs House will be offered at 2pm. To participate in the tour, please park on Pennsylvania Avenue which is the street adjacent to the Higgs House (1112 Dickinson Avenue; Greenville, NC 27834).
If you are coming for the tea only, please arrive at the Music House at 3:00 pm.
Parking is available in the Greenville Utilities Lot immediately adjacent to The Music House.
