🤩🤩Next Thursday - The Plough Arts Centre is putting on a unique and special event - Thalia~Fest - to celebrate International Women's Day. 🤩🤩🖤What is it?
It is a music festival, full of female led influential music, played by a host of musicians and singers from Devon! Packed with well known songs from across the decades and some beautiful original songs - there is something for everyone!
🖤Why is it called Thalia~Fest?
Thalia is one of the Greek Muses, looking down on poetry and music, known as the "joyous" or "flourishing" one - so a perfect representation of everything we want to celebrate in this event!
🖤What is the inspiration behind the event?
Aside from purely celebrating women in music, the festival comes from the Lilith Fair, which was a cultural phenomenon in the late 1990s that changed the landscape of music by females! It was a touring festival entirely curated, led and performed by women and was an incredible success!

Thursday 5th March, 6.30pm onwards!
