About this Event
In this class, you’ll explore a variety of texture mediums and techniques, learning how to build depth, movement, and visual interest on canvas. This class builds on the Textured Art 101 class, and offers more advanced techniques including the addition of various mixed medias, to help participants create more intricate and customized artworks.
Participants will experiment with different application methods and create a one-of-a-kind textured artwork on a canvas. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a finished piece ready to take home, display, or gift—along with the confidence to continue exploring textured art on your own.
No prior experience necessary; all materials are provided. Please note: Previously attending Textured 101 is not required, but to get more out of your time it is helpful to have a basic understanding of tools and materials prior to class.
About the teacher:
Angela Woody is a self-taught abstract artist from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Working with acrylics, texture, and mixed media, she creates emotionally driven pieces that spark curiosity and invite viewers to explore the layers within her work.
