Join us for this engaging two-part Textile Art Workshop, taking place on two consecutive Saturdays. The workshop sessions will be held on January 24th and January 31st, both from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to expand your skills, this session provides the perfect gateway to creating a one-of-a-kind wall hanging. No prior experience is necessary.

Under expert guidance, you will explore a variety of artistic methods to bring your vision to life:

• Material Mastery: Learn manipulation techniques using fabric scraps, threads, and yarns.
• Hand Embroidery: Master various stitches to add intricate detail and texture to your work.
• Creative Fusion: Discover how to seamlessly incorporate unconventional and recycled materials into your textile art.

What colors and textures inspire you? We encourage you to bring your own ideas and any personal items you would like to weave into your story. This might include:

• Personal fabric remnants or jewelry.
• Metal components or small wood pieces.
• Special mementos to make your piece truly meaningful.

Location: FAVO Art Village Studio 238

To reach the studio, turn north on Highland Avenue from Colonial Drive, and enter the parking lot (second driveway on the left). There is a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". When you enter the parking lot turn right and then left at the rear of the lot, continue through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. FAVO building is the L-shaped two story building. Class is upstairs at studio 238.
