On March 2, 1836, a bold declaration changed history forever.On March 2, 2026, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas – Alamo Mission Chapter, in partnership with The Alamo, invite you to gather at Alamo Plaza as we commemorate the 190th Anniversary of Texas Independence.

Student Sharing at 12:30 p.m.
We are honored to recognize Bradley Middle School during this meaningful program.
As we celebrate our chapter’s 120th year, we reflect with gratitude on the spirit that built Texas — and continues to inspire us today.
This event is open to the public, and all are welcome to join us for this special day of remembrance and pride.
