Change happens when we show up! On April 4, students, faculty, and community leaders from all 9 Texas HBCUs will march from Huston-Tillotson University to the Texas Capitol to call for action to HB 3296: Invest in Texas, Invest in HBCUs.
Why March?
• Establish a Higher Education Consortium for Civic Education
• Enabling Texas to provide free civic education to all residents
• Equip HBCUs with funds to support faculty, curriculum development and infrastructure improvements
