Tender-Ready: AI Assurance for WA Suppliers
About this Event
When a tender asks, “Describe your organisation’s AI governance arrangements”, can your team answer clearly, truthfully, and with evidence?
Mining primes, government agencies, and large corporates are increasingly asking suppliers about AI governance, risk, data handling, and assurance. For WA SMEs, the challenge is turning what your organisation actually does into clear, reusable tender evidence without overclaiming.
This practical half-day workshop helps you build a credible AI assurance approach for tenders and procurement, based on your existing practices and realistic capabilities.
Who this is for
Designed for WA SMEs supplying mining, government, and large corporate buyers, particularly:
- Procurement and commercial teams
- Bid and tender professionals
- Risk and compliance roles
- Business owners and managers
What we will do together
- Define AI requirements clearly: Translate AI-related expectations into practical, outcome-based requirements.
- Assess vendors honestly: Use a structured due-diligence scorecard, including how to handle unknowns without overclaiming.
- Protect your position: Develop practical acceptance criteria, contractual considerations, and exit arrangements.
- Build your tender evidence pack: Organise truthful, reusable evidence you can adapt across future tenders and procurement processes.
What you will take home
- An Outcome-Based AI Requirement Specification
- A Vendor Due-Diligence Scorecard
- An AI Acceptance and Exit Plan
- A reusable Tender AI Evidence Pack
Good to know
Please bring your laptop so you can work directly on the workshop templates and build your own tender evidence pack. You may also bring existing procurement, AI governance, risk, or tender materials that are suitable for workshop use, but please do not bring confidential or commercially sensitive information. No prerequisites are required. This is a practical professional development workshop and does not review a specific live tender, provide legal or procurement advice, or certify your organisation against any standard.
