Ken speaks from experience about winning moves for innovators, venture investors and dealmakers in China, and anywhere, actually!
From 2001 to 2011, he ran SVB in Silicon Valley and then spent four years living in Shanghai, leading the technology bank's efforts to set up a joint venture with Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. He was not totally prepared for all that happened.
Today, Ken teaches as an Adjunct Professor at U.C. Berkeley and is on the Board of Advisors of the Fudan University School of Management in Shanghai. Additionally, he is honorary chair of the Asia Society in Northern California and a board member of the Asian Art Museum.
