They Were Moving Foil… Under Glass… In Minutes!The first telekinesis training I ever ran - as part of some extended psi training in Orlando, Florida - went well.
Very well.
The conventional approach for teaching telekinesis is to show you what’s possible, then get you to build up your skills slowly.
But I throw you into the deep end.
In groups of six or eight people, I had them spinning a psi wheel - a small piece of foil, resting on the tip of a pin. To prove it wasn’t caused by wind or anyone breathing, the psi wheels were placed under glass jars.
Moving a psi wheel under glass like this is supposed to be an advanced skill. I’ve known serious practitioners who couldn’t do it within their first year of study.
My learners?
They got it in less than 30 minutes.
Now, I have to be transparent here. Not every group succeeded. Not everyone was demonstrating advanced psi abilities on their first try.
“Only” 5 out of the 6 groups managed it. Out of 46 people, “only” about 40 leapfrogged years of practice and did something extraordinary.
That’s “only” 87% of them, succeeding immediately and beyond any reasonable expectation.
What can I say? It was my first telekinesis training. I learned my lessons from that. Now, I’m even better.

Telekinesis is the practice of moving small things with only your mind. You can spin pieces of foil, create magnetism, direct floating ping pong balls and stick coins to walls, just by intending to.
And if that was all telekinesis was, I wouldn’t care about it.
It’d be a neat party trick, plus proof that you can reliably do things so fantastic, most folks would say it’s impossible.

Practicing telekinesis requires useful mental states, like patience, focus and gentleness. It’s not meditation. I find it’s something more than that. Something better. The simple mental exercises you’ll find work for your abilities also help you during your day.
Training the mind is incredibly useful.
Telekinesis calibrates your power
This is the big one.
With telekinesis, you can get precise, even scientific. It gives you immediate and high quality feedback on your psi abilities. Can you move heavy things or only light things? Can you control the direction or does it move on its own?
This lets you quickly experiment with different approaches and see - unambiguously - what works and what doesn’t.
But even without this, I’d still train you in telekinesis because…
Telekinesis unlocks true magic
