Since taking to the stage and commencing his successful recording career, Australia’s favourite son “Nollsie” has gone on to achieve certified triple-platinum sales, multiple #1 hits, five top 10 albums, 17 platinum and three gold accreditations, and boasts a reputation as the only Australian male artist in national chart history to have ever achieved ten consecutive top ten singles. His single ‘What About Me’ was certified 4× platinum and was the highest selling single in Australia in 2004. Re-invented in collaboration with electronic duo Sunset Bros in 2022 to a legion of new fans.
In 2020 Nollsie also scored his first #1 on the Australian Country charts when he featured on ‘Find Our Way’ with girl-band Southbound xo.
His first album with new label Red Dog Recordings, titled RAW, debuted at #3 on the ARIA album chart and #1 on the ARIA Australian Album chart and AIR Independent Album chart in 2021.
Nollsie celebrated 2024 with a repackaged version of his debut album “That’s What I’m Talking About” which featured all the original hits, live versions and 2 new songs “No Time” (written by Gary Frost who also wrote “What About Me” and “Don’t You Wanna stay” which featured his Idol alumni Cosima Devito. This was followed by a sold out theatre run across the countery.
Shannon has appeared on a number of TV shows since Idol in 2003 including “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here”, “Dancing With The Stars” and more recently “The Masked Singer”.
Nollsie has also fronted a variety of high-profile brand campaigns for Uber Eats, Jetstar, KFC, Greyhound, Seven Plus and The Great Australian Rum Co (of which he is a co-owner).
