Teen Trip: World of Little League Museum ⚾
⚾ What we'll be doing
The museum sits right on the Little League International Complex, where Little League started back in 1939. Teens will take a self-guided tour through interactive exhibits, including video and audio stories, a touchscreen table that connects every local Little League in the world, a catcher's station, and a home-to-first running exhibit. They can test their speed between bases, their reaction time on ground balls, and how high they can jump. The museum overlooks Howard J. Lamade Stadium, so teens will get to see the actual field where the Little League World Series is played every August.
💡 Why we're going
Little League started as one three-team league right here in Pennsylvania and grew into something worldwide. It's a good reminder that big things can start small. For teens who play or love sports, it's a chance to connect with the roots of the game and try out real baseball skills. For everyone else, it's a fun day out and something new to experience.
