Some heart conditions don’t show symptoms—but they can be detected. That’s why Onvida Health, in partnership with Yuma Union High School District, is bringing back its Teen Heart Screening Event for Heart Month!📅 Saturday, February 22, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Kofa High School (Rillos Gym)
What to Expect:
✅ Free heart screenings, including electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) and potentially echocardiograms (ECHO), for students ages 12-19
✅ Cardiologists and other heart team medical professionals on-site
✅ A chance to detect hidden heart conditions early
✅ A care plan if an abnormality is detected
📝 Important Details:
- A parent or guardian must be present or provide a signed consent form (can also be completed online) for students under 18 to participate.
- Complete and sign medical questionnaire and consent form (available in English and Spanish) online when you register or in person.
