About this Event

Conservation Foundation's Teen Conservation Club is a program tailored for students ages 13 to 17. Join us every second Friday from October to May (the third Friday in November) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on a journey of discovery, exploration, and conservation.

What's in Store for You?

  • Uncover Fascinating Topics: Ignite your curiosity as we dive into local issues! At each planning session, you'll brainstorm and pick topics that resonate with you, ensuring a learning experience that's both personal and enriching.
  • Embark on Eye-Opening Field Trips: Explore your local environment and engage firsthand with environmental professionals. Witness nature's wonders, and gain insights you can't find in a textbook!
  • Practice the Art of Presentation: Sharpen your communication skills by preparing and delivering two presentations to your fellow club members. Showcase your unique perspective on subjects close to your heart, amplifying your confidence and leadership abilities.
  • Empowerment for Change: Transform from a concerned observer to an empowered advocate, driving positive change in your community. Learn how to make a tangible impact to address local environmental issues.

We kindly request that you commit to attending each session, as participants will build upon what they learn and experience throughout the program. Please ensure that you are able to attend each session prior to registration. All field trips will be in Sarasota or Manatee County.
