Teen Art Club: Grades 6-12 - starts 4/24/25

Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm
6 weeks class dates: 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5 (no class 5/15)

Love art? Love music? Hang out with friends and make art! Ms. Irvine is hosting a creative lounge where students have access to a variety of materials to collaborate with others or explore their individual creativity! New to art? There is always room to grow your artistic skills and creative mind therefore we are encouraging all skill levels to join! Music is welcome as well, throughout the class we will discuss appropriate instruments and expectations as opportunities arise. The DCA Teen Art Club focuses around building confidence within each artist while improving social skills, happiness, craftsmanship,goal setting, art material experiences and techniques. Can’t wait to see the students’ joy of expressing their art freely and the happiness they gain joining a fun, artsy, healthy and safe place to hang out. Grades: 6-12 grades

Cost: $90 pre-pay for 6-weeks. Or drop-in for $20 per class, payable in the DCA office on day of class.

Registration available online, in person or over the phone for the discounted 6-week session. Deadline to register is 2 days before start of class. If you are redeeming a gift card, please call the office to register. Drop-ins available all session long, payable in the DCA office on the day of class. No pre-registration required for drop-ins.

Fine Print: It is the guardian’s/student’s responsibility to stay home if you are sick. If you have a fever, stay home. If someone in your house is sick, stay home. If you have allergies and can’t control sneezing, and cough please stay home. If you have been exposed or if you show signs of Covid-19, please stay home. If you miss a class, we will work with you on getting the instructions home to students, or possibly have an online option. If class is cancelled by the DCA or Executive Orders, we will refund your remaining classes.

Hand sanitizer is available in all common areas. Please wash hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds after touching metal surfaces, sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose or using the restroom. In the case of being diagnosed with Covid-19 or show symptoms, immediately notify the DCA by email at [email protected].
