Do you know someone interested in a life-changing weekend for the high schoolers in our Diocese: The Teen ACTS retreat! ACTS
stands for Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. This 4-day, 3-night retreat gives them
a safe space to step away from the pressures of daily life, deepen their relationship with God,
and build lasting friendships with other Catholic youth in our diocese. It's put on by a team of
peers, young adults, and dedicated Teen ACTS Team members.
This years theme is: "You are HOLY BY HIS DESIGN!" From 2 Timothy 1:9 "He saved us and
called us to a holy life, not according to our works but according to His own design."
The upcoming Teen ACTS retreat will take place from July 16th to July 19th at The Bishop
DeFalco Retreat Center in Amarillo. Registration is currently open for all incoming 10th through
outgoing 12th graders. The cost is $300 for the whole weekend including all meals, t-shirt, and
lodging for the entire weekend. Please, do not let financial worries keep your teen from
attending; scholarships are available!
Spots fill up quickly, so I strongly encourage you to sign up your teens, or for our high schoolers
listening, tell your parents you want to go!
