2026 West Texas Panhandle Emergency Nurses Association Trauma Symposium
The WTPENA trauma symposium is your chance to dive deep into the latest trauma care, network with fellow pros, and boost your skills in a fun and friendly environment. This year's symposium will take place Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 at the Amarillo Civic Center from 08:30-5:00 pm. We will have the lecture portion will be held in the Heritage Hall and the education exhibits and vendors will be held in the North Exhibit Hall.
Our speakers this year will be discussing Geriatric Trauma, Neuro Trauma, ARDS/Respiratory Issues, Pediatric Trauma, High Risk OB Precipitous Delivery, Point of Care Ultrasound, and Regional Advisory Committee Resources.
Our exhibit hall will include stations for SALAD Suction Technique Intubation, Alveolar recruitment/PEEP pig lung model,Glidescope® Video Laryngoscopy, Hamilton® Ventilators, Impella®, STRYKER®, Zoll®, Teleflex®, STOP THE BLEED®, High Risk OB with NOELLE Simulator®, Umbilical Venous Catheter insertion, RAC Medical Triage Set up and RAC AMBUS, and more!!
Check in will be located on the south side of the Heritage Hall. Breakfast and lunch will be provided along with an all you can drink coffee cart from Palace Coffee.
This year, in partnership with Amarillo College, we will be offering 8.5 CEs to Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, EMS, Respiratory Therapists, and Social Workers.
