This November, downtown champions from across the state will meet in Amarillo for four energizing days of learning, exploring, celebrating, and connecting. The Texas Downtown Annual Conference is more than a lineup of sessions—it is where the people doing the work come together to exchange honest lessons, discover practical solutions, and return home ready to make meaningful things happen.
Our Amarillo hosts will become part of the classroom as we venture beyond the meeting rooms to experience revitalization in action. From the historic character and creative energy of Route 66 and Sixth Avenue to downtown destinations such as HODGETOWN Stadium, the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, The Barfield, and Amarillo’s evolving public spaces, attendees will have opportunities to see how history, hospitality, investment, and imagination are shaping the city’s future.

The TXD Board will descend on Amarillo on Sunday, November 1, and will set the stage with early-bird activities, opportunities to begin exploring Amarillo, and an evening welcome experience for all. The conference sessions launch on November 2 and continue through November 4, featuring education, exploration, celebration, and the kind of conversations that often lead to the next great downtown idea.
