TEDxFaurotPark 2026 is bringing six speakers with incredible ideas worth spreading to Encore Theatre in Lima, Ohio on Saturday, March 14, 2026

The theme of "Connections" invites us to explore the myriad relationships that shape our world, extending beyond human interactions to encompass the connections between people, nature, technology, and ideas.

We are outsourcing what makes us human, our attention, emotions, judgment, and habits, without noticing. This talk uses a cybersecurity lens to show how AI quietly compromises the human operating system through small, almost invisible increments, and offers a simple framework to take it back.

When Arts Speak, Communities Listen explores how creativity becomes a civic language—shaping identity, challenging misinformation, and giving voice to communities too often unheard. Through lived experience and cultural storytelling, LeJuane “El’Ja” Bowens reveals how art doesn’t just reflect society—it activates it.

After many years of unrecognized time and effort, Laneshia developed a philosophy to document less visible/invisible work. This talk will illustrate how to make work visible by changing how we measure productivity, and what considerations are needed to best capture and celebrate often unseen labor.  By using her own experiences and observations, Laneshia candidly talks through creating a professional impact statement, a tool that can be used to document labor and can be used as evidence for performance reviews.

In her TEDxFaurotPark Talk, Tricia proposes an amendment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that affirms the right to personal agency in end-of-life decisions. She invites audiences to consider how honoring compassion, psychological integrity, and the freedom to choose can redefine what it means to live, and die, with dignity.
