Truth, Trust, and Technology: Information in the Age of AI is our 2026-2027 community engagement series. The College of Letters and Science will host events over the academic year which focus on the prevalence of misinformation in the age of artificial intelligence.
Speakers will discuss how we got to the present-day environment and best practices to evaluate the truth of source material. From lectures to panels, the year-long series will invite participants to improve their critical thinking and seek solutions to combat misinformation through a workshop-style event.

Kickoff event in the DUC, Laird Room 230 - Guests will include Chad Johnson, associate professor in Computing and New Media Technologies.
