2026 Area 61 AFG Convention

Note: If you plan to stay at Stevens Point Holiday Inn Convention Center during the convention, you are responsible for reserving your own room. Holiday Inn's contact information is listed below. Rates are guaranteed through September 23, 2026.

The Convention will be held October 23-25, 2026 at Stevens Point Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Area 61 Al-Anon Family Groups is comprised of Al-Anon and Alateen groups in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Convention is a time for fellowship, fun, and giving.

In cooperation with Alcoholics Anonymous, we have a full track of AA meetings, panels, workshops & speakers as well. Note that Al-Anon & AA meetings are open to all. Alateen meetings are closed; only Alateens and certified AMIAS may attend.

Hotel Reservations

We are pleased to confirm that a room block has been set up and folks may start making their reservations.

Rate: $140.00 Standard Rate

If you decide to make reservations over the phone, please call 715-344-0200 and press #1. When making reservations, please reference the group name for Al Anon 2026 or the Group Block Code: ALA.

Guests can also book their reservations online 24 hours a day by using the following link:

Our rate will be available through September 23, 2026 or until the block is full. After this date, any remaining rooms in our block will be released for general reservations at the hotel's prevailing daily rate, which may be higher than our group rate. We encourage everyone to book by 9/23/2026.

• Saturday Plated Dinner at 6:00pm

Sunday 10/25

• Sunday Plated Breakfast at 8:30am
• Al-Anon speaker at 10:00 AM: Iris R, Kenosha, WI, WI & UP of MI Delegate, Panel 65

• Closing at 11:00am

Registration Fee:

$30 if registering by Sep 20

$35 if registering between Sep 21 to Oct 16

$45 if registering after Oct 16 and walk-ins

Alateens: $15 (age 19 or younger)

Pre-registration ends Friday, October 16th.

If you haven’t registered yet by October 16th, print and complete a registration form (see below) and bring it with you to the convention. Forms will also be available at the Convention registration table starting Friday, 2 pm.

WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS are welcome! Pay $45 ($15 Alateen) at the Registration table (cash, check, or Venmo accepted) starting Friday, October 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

MEALS (tickets available only through October 16th)

• Saturday Night Plated Dinner – $35 Per Person

Your choice of the following entrees:

1. Herb Baked Chicken (Gluten Free), Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and French Cut Green Beans with Roasted Peppers
2. Beef Tips, Served over Noodles and Honey Glazed Carrots
3. Special Dietary Needs, you will need to identify your needs in the comment section

Each entree will include a garden salad with choice of two house dressings, rolls and butter, fresh decaf and regular coffee, iced tea and water.

Al-Anon will celebrate their 75th Anniversary with a cake for dessert.

• Sunday Morning Plated Breakfast - $25 per person
• Scrambled Egg Croissant Sandwich with bacon and pastries with butter and Freshly brewed regular and decaf coffees.
