Over and over, people tell me how much better they feel after a half hour of breathing and exercising from their chair or with chair, wall or desk support. Chair Yoga can be taught online, in conference rooms, and outdoors. It's a perfect re-entry to exercise during or after injuries, surgeries and illnesses. Adding a wall increases chair stability and expands this supportive practice or can be done on it's own. Learn all about the postures, adaptations, and how to sequence and teach with chairs and walls.
Everyone is welcome to this training to learn safe, accessible postures to share with family, colleagues and clients during this one day workshop. You will receive an emailed training handout with postures, their benefits and contraindications.
Feel prepared to guide or practice a 30 to 60 minute supported sequence for any level of fitness. Yoga teachers will receive 6 credit hours or study toward Yoga Alliance recertification. And we'll have some fun too!

Want to take this training online?
You will need a sturdy chair without wheels and if possible, without arms, such as a folding chair or dining chair, that allows your feet to be flat on the floor. You also may want a wall nearby and a pillow or two and medium size blanket such as a couch throw.
