Teachers’ Forum – Addressing the Gender Balance in Computing Science
About this Event
What to expect:
Hosted in the magnificent setting of The Mound overlooking the city, this informal event brings together teachers, advisors and industry practitioners to explore and address improving gender diversity in computing from the classroom to the boardroom.
Expect lightening talks with live case studies, animated round table discussion and plenty of time to mix with colleagues and peers over light refreshments. Debate will span classroom challenges to developing career pathways and everything in between. Bring your challenges and questions to the forum. Tell industry what you need from them.

- Are role models enough to change the gender balance in technology
- What is the biggest barrier to girls entering technology today?
- How do we turn confidence into action for the next generation of female technologists?
