An informal evening of networking and discussion focused on the role of leadership in creating cyber resilient organisations
About this Event

Cyber security is no longer solely an IT issue. It is a business resilience, governance and leadership issue that increasingly sits at board level.

As organisations face growing cyber threats, increasing regulatory expectations and heightened stakeholder scrutiny, boards are being asked to take a more active role in understanding and overseeing cyber risk.

The recently launched UK Government Cyber Governance Code of Practice and Cyber Resilience Pledge further reinforce the importance of board-level engagement in cyber resilience.

This ScotlandIS event will bring together business leaders, board members, cyber specialists and policymakers for an informal evening of networking and discussion focused on the role of leadership in creating cyber resilient organisations.

Through a fireside chat format, speakers will explore what effective board engagement looks like, common challenges organisations face, and practical steps leaders can take to strengthen governance, accountability and cyber resilience.

Speakers: Lucy Batley - Traction, David Goodacre - I-Confidential, Greig Scott - Closed Door Security

Additional speakers will be announced soon.
