MORE THAN A COURSE
The instructors who make the biggest impact aren't necessarily the best dancers in the room.
They're the ones who create connection.
The ones who build confidence.
The ones who make students feel welcome.
The ones who inspire others to keep showing up.
This Teacher Training Program has been developed using insights gathered over many years of dancing, teaching, coaching and studio ownership.
The course draws on lessons learned from some of Australia's most respected dance educators and studio owners, including mentorship and inspiration from leaders such as Jaime-Jesus, founder of one of Australia's largest Latin dance schools, professional dance coach Csaba Szirmai, former owner of Gold Coast Salsa, and respected studio owner and pro dancer Angela Fayth.
Combined with Gold Coast Salsa's own teaching philosophy and practical experience developing dancers, instructors and community leaders, this program brings together a broad range of proven teaching principles and real-world experience.
The program explores what makes great instructors, thriving communities and unforgettable student experiences.
Training will be delivered by Andre Vermast, World Bachata Champion and Studio Director, together with Kelsy Luengen and other senior members of the Gold Coast Salsa teaching team.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED
Places are intentionally limited so participants receive personalised coaching, feedback, mentoring and support throughout the year.
Applications help ensure the program is the right fit for both the participant and the course.
We're looking for people who are genuinely interested in learning, growing, contributing to the community and developing their leadership and teaching skills.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us a message and request an application form.
Once completed, your application will be reviewed and we'll be in touch regarding the next steps.

If you've ever thought:
"I'd love to help others experience what dance has given me."
This program was created for you.
