Teacher Picture Day: Sip • Style • Smile
About this Event
What would it look like to create a picture day that was actually for teachers?
Not a rushed photo between classes. An afternoon to put on something that feels like you, step in front of the camera, and connect with educators who understand your world.
Teacher Picture Day: Sip • Style • Smile is The Educators Club’s invitation to be seen beyond your role. Whether you need a fresh professional headshot or simply want photos that feel like you, this is your time in front of the camera.
Your ticket includes a portrait session with a professional photographer, 10 professional shots, and 2 edited photos. You’ll also enjoy complimentary mimosas, music, and time to connect with other local educators. Your photo appointment is only part of the experience, so stay and enjoy the afternoon.
The Educators Club will have a booth where you can learn more about our mission and the community we’re building beyond the classroom. We’ll also have a rack of gently used clothing that you can borrow or purchase for your photo session. Come with a look in mind, find one while you’re here, or mix a little of both.
Picture day is limited to 15 ticket holders to keep the experience personal and relaxed.
Part of feeling seen is having the freedom to show up in something that feels like you. That’s what makes Kate’s Kollection such a meaningful part of Picture Day.
Kim Sroka created the collection in honor of her best friend Kate, who passed away unexpectedly. Kate loved fashion, thrifting, and finding a beautiful piece at a great price. Through the collection, Kim carries that joy forward by connecting women with clothing they can make their own at affordable prices.
Kim will bring pieces you can try on and borrow for your photo session. If one feels just right, you can purchase it and take it home. Come with an outfit you love, or discover something new. The point is to feel like yourself when you step in front of the camera.
Feeling seen also means knowing our community sees the young people we teach.
Project 150 began when Las Vegas community members learned that 150 students at Rancho High School were experiencing homelessness. Today, the organization provides free clothing and other essentials to high school students facing homelessness, displacement, and financial hardship.
That’s why we’re collecting gently used clothing that would fit teenagers. A piece you’re ready to pass along could help a student feel more comfortable and prepared for the school day.
The clothing drive is separate from Picture Day and open to everyone. You do not need a photo session ticket, and you do not need to be an educator. If you feel called to give back, stop by Bottega Exchange between 11 AM and 1 PM with clothing to donate. You can also learn more about Project 150 and The Educators Club while you’re there.
