Clark County Public Arts presents Para las Hijas Mayores (For the Eldest Daughters), a solo exhibition by Yazmin Garcia exploring the responsibilities, expectations and histories eldest daughters often carry.
Drawing from her experience as a first-generation Mexican American, Garcia reflects on identity, sacrifice, ancestry, grief, motherhood, healing and community through mixed-media paintings rooted in personal and family experiences.
