Join Ashley of Sage & Cedar Herbal Tea Company for a sensory experience grounded by plant medicines. The act of drinking tea is deeply immersive and centering. It helps to connect us to the present moment through stimulating all of our senses and holding our attention.
In the calming microclimate of the Salt Cave, we will slow down, ground into the body, and open ourselves to receive the medicine of a specially brewed tea. This session will be broken into three parts; Education, Meditation, and Sensory Experience where we will taste, touch, smell, see, and hear the medicine of a Sage & Cedar favorite; Old Mountain Black. This bold black tea is a passionate reflection of the rich land it comes from in the Laoshan mountains of China. We will learn about how the tea is processed, how to best brew it, and how to enjoy its many layers of flavor.
Space is limited to 10 participants.
Cost is $30 per person.
Blankets will be provided, but please feel free to bring any blankets, bolsters, or other cozy items that will support your relaxation. Dress comfortably and come ready to let go and be taken on a journey.
