Tea in the Gallery

Join us for Tea in the Gallery, a slow, intimate tea tasting and art viewing experience inside The Monastery Gallery.

This small group gathering invites guests to prepare and taste three intentional loose leaf tea blends, spend time with the current exhibition at The Monastery AZ gallery, and engage the artwork through guided viewing and conversation prompts. Rather than simply walking through the gallery, guests will first be seated together for a guided tea blending experience, then invited to view the exhibit look closely, and dialogue with the work around them.

Each guest will taste three different tea blends created around different moods, intentions, or works of art. Between tastings, prompt cards will guide guests into reflection, conversation, and a deeper experience of the exhibition.

At the end of the experience, each guest will choose their favorite blend and fill one jar with loose leaf tea to take home, along with sachets for steeping.

Additional jars of tea blends will be available for purchase during the event for $20 each.

Tea in the Gallery is for anyone who wants to slow down, experience art in a more personal way, try loose leaf tea blending, meet thoughtful creative people, and take home a simple ritual they made themselves.

No art knowledge or tea blending experience is needed. Come curious.

This event is limited to 8 guests total. Couple Tickets reserve 2 seats.

Tea blends may include herbs, flowers, spices, citrus, and caffeinated teas. Some blends may contain caffeine. Ingredients will be listed at the event so guests can review them before tasting. Guests with allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy concerns, or Medic*tion interaction concerns should inform hosts and review ingredients carefully before participating.
