Tea Ceremony at AREA New York
Join us at AREA New York for a special tea ceremony workshop with Master Yoshitsugu Nagano!
AREA New York, an interior design shop specializing in custom furniture and relaxing spaces with Japanese influences, is hosting a tea ceremony workshop led by New York-based tea master Yoshitsugu Nagano.
Matcha, a globally recognized healthy beverage, originated as a meditation drink in Zen practice and evolved into the tea ceremony, or "sado," a comprehensive art form. This event will teach you how to prepare and enjoy matcha in a simple, table-style ceremony you can practice at home. You'll also learn about incorporating seasonal elements and choosing the right tea bowls.
Incorporate matcha into your daily life and enjoy a moment of tranquility!
