Tea Ceremony at McKinney Asian Art and Food Festival 2026

Experience the beauty and tranquility of traditional Chinese tea culture in an intimate, hands-on setting. Each session is limited to no more than 6 participants, allowing guests to interact closely with the Tea Master.

The Tea Master will guide participants through each step of the traditional tea ceremony, explaining the proper procedures and sharing practical tips for preparing different types of tea, including the appropriate steeping time and brewing techniques.

Three different types of tea will be featured. Guests will learn about the unique characteristics and traditional benefits of each tea, as well as the best way to prepare and enjoy them.

The tea experience takes place in the vibrant atmosphere of our Asian festival, surrounded by delicious Asian street food, traditional music, cultural performances, and the sights and sounds of Asian traditions.

Each session concludes with individually packed tea samples to take home, allowing participants to continue their tea experience after the festival.
