Irina Krasotina is an international concert pianist and Professor at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. She will perform The Seasons, a set of twelve short character pieces for solo piano by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, in which each piece is characteristic of a different month of the year in Russia. In addition, she will perform other pieces by Tchaikovsky, including a four-hands piece (Tchaikovsky Swan Lake Op.20) with Penang-based international concert pianist Zhang Zhi.
The programme will last approximately 2 hours including a 20-minute intermission.
