- Help community members better understand chronic diseases and ways to prevent them
- Show simple, affordable ways to prepare healthier meals using local produce and everyday foods
- Help student volunteers build confidence in speaking with and educating the community
- Make health and science information easier for everyday people to understand
- Connect families with local health, wellness, and food resources
- Encourage healthier habits that can improve long-term quality of life

Host: Dr. Keneshia Bryant-Moore, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC
Info: Dr. Keneshia Bryant-Moore is a tenured Professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and serves as Community Engagement Core Director for the Women’s Health Prevention Research Center. A nurse scientist with 25+ years of experience, her work focuses on rural and under-resourced communities through health education, research, and outreach.
In 2016, she founded the Faith-Academic Initiative for Transforming Health (FAITH) Network, which equips faith leaders to engage in health research and community partnerships.
Dr. Bryant-Moore earned degrees from University of Michigan-Flint, Duke University, and Azusa Pacific University. She also owns Mariposa’s Place of Wellness near Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
