Think all chocolate tastes the same? Think again! In this hands-on tasting workshop, we'll explore how and why chocolate tastes different depending on where in the world the cocoa beans were grown. You'll sample several different single-origin chocolates and learn how to pick up on the unique flavor notes in each. We'll also give you a breakdown of the entire bean-to-bar process so you can understand what gives each chocolate its character.
This free class is taught by Case Sandberg, founder of San Diego Chocolate Company. For more information on Case and his work: https://www.instagram.com/sandiegochocolate, https://sandiegochocolate.com/
🚜 Since 1972, we've focused on simple growing methods, time-tested advice, and locally-grown plants.
☀️ We'd love to invite you down to our open-air canyon classroom for a fun morning of casual learning.
🧴 During warmer months, hats, sunscreen, water recommended.
🦆 Free to attend, no RSVP required.
