Technically Focused - Taste the Rainbow - Edible Color WheelIn this hands-on activity, participants will dive into the fascinating world of color theory by exploring the color wheel and mastering the art of color mixing. Students will have the opportunity to create a delightful edible color wheel using colorful icing and Nilla wafers, which will serve as a canvas for their artistic expression. As they decorate the wafers, they will enhance their fine motor skills and gain a practical understanding of color relationships. This engaging project encourages creativity, allowing students to showcase their artistic talents while reinforcing their knowledge of color mixing principles. By the lesson's conclusion, each student will leave with a tasty treat and a vibrant visual representation of the color wheel, ensuring their grasp of color theory is enjoyable and memorable.
