Taste of the Arts is back — and we couldn't be more excited to welcome you to our second season.
This beloved 6-night subscription series returns for 2026–27, once again bringing together two of life's greatest pleasures: outstanding live performance and exceptional dining. Each evening begins with a 3–4 course dinner at a carefully selected restaurant near our campus, giving you plenty of time to savor every course before the show begins.
From theater to dance, music to spectacle, every night out with Taste of the Arts is a little different — and that's exactly the point. Think of it as the best kind of sampler: new flavors, new stories, and great company.
Our season kicks off with a sizzling jazz show as Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra bring big-band power and electrifying Afro-Latin rhythms to the gorgeous Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.
Founded by restauranteur Clemente Heredia, Calo Kitchen + Tequila has quickly become a favorite dining destination at South Coast Plaza. Founded on the importance of hospitality in Mexican culture, its menu features traditional favorites, some with playful twists, prepared with the highest quality ingredients - many of their recipes have been handed down from Clemente’s grandparents and have stayed original til this day!
