Taste of Place Foraging | Nourishing Vinegars & Oxymels

Join Ada Parks & Recreation for this make-and-take event. Wildcrafting Guide, Lea Sevigny, will lead the group in identifying and foraging for mineral-rich plants. With these herbs, participants will create their own nourishing vinegar infusion to take home. After the infusion period, fortify and flavor it further by making an oxymel with honey. Leave having tasted several samples of infused vinegars and oxymels, with a personal vinegar infusion, and an understanding of how to make it in the future.
