Taste of Norway: Lefse, Krumkake, and Rømmegrøt (RSVP by Nov 3)
Would you like to learn how to make lefse and krumkake, or perhaps just enjoy eating some?
Join us for our third annual Taste of Norway event, featuring baking demonstrations by members and friends of the local Sons of Norway lodge. Attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience making these delicious Norwegian treats!
In addition to lefse and krumkake, you can sample traditional Norwegian favorites, including rømmegrøt (a traditional Norwegian porridge made with sour cream, whole milk, wheat flour, butter, and salt), heart-shaped Norwegian waffles, glögg (a traditional Nordic spiced drink), coffee and tea.
This event is open to the public. A suggested donation of $5 applies to attendees ages 12 and older.
Please RSVP early to help us plan for an enjoyable event. To RSVP, please contact Sandy Vail at sandvail21@ gmail.com.
We look forward to sharing a Taste of Norway with you!
